Forum on the Fourth
Held the fourth Sunday of each month (usually), these forums give us an opportunity to discuss an ethical dilemma from a Christian perspective. The next Forum on the Fourth will be held on Sunday, November 24 after the 9:30am service. Using this article from People, we will have a discussion about the over-emphasis we place on what party we belong to, how to relate to others with different views in a respectful way, and what it means to be a good person.
Make Your Own Advent Wreath
If you would like to have your own Advent wreath this year, you’re in luck! On Sunday, December 1, both children and adults can gather in the fellowship hall to create their very own Advent wreaths. Children will make the wreaths during Sunday school at 9am, and adults can make their own before or after the service. All materials, including candles, will be provided, though any additional greens or decorations would be welcome. There will also be a worship bulletin to take home and use for personal or family devotions each day of Advent. Learn more.
Let us begin to prepare ourselves for the observation of a holy Advent.
