Though we Christians profess that we follow Christ, there is no doubt that Christians often act in ways that are decidedly contradictory to what Christ taught. Why is it that people who claim to follow the Savior of the world often not only ignore the gospel, but act in ways that blatantly go against it–often while claiming to speak in Christ‘s name? Using this article from the Atlantic as a starting point, we will discuss why Christians often act un-Christlike, spread false teachings, and how that drives people away from the gospel in this month’s forum.
