Why do we pledge?

The main source of support for St. Thomas comes in the form of pledges—gifts given to the church to the glory of God and for the continued mission and ministry of the church. Every October, we ask the people of St. Thomas to share what they intend to gift to the church in the upcoming year. These pledges are non-binding, so if your financial circumstances change and you have to give less or you’d like to give more, you will never be pressured. Your pledge simply helps our finance committee to get an idea of what the budget needs to look like in the upcoming year.

You should have recently received some information from the church about supporting St. Thomas in 2021 (if not, please let me or Terry know, and she’ll make sure it gets to you!). Thank you to everyone who has returned their pledge card. Your pledge helps us to plan for the upcoming year.

If you haven’t already, please return your pledge card as soon as you are able.  Please note that if you have chosen (like I have) to give online, we still ask that you fill out a pledge card.

Though the pandemic has changed the way we gather, we continue to worship, study, and share in fellowship together—and we look forward to when we might gather together in our church building once again. If you still have any questions about how to tune in to our virtual offerings, please let me know! Thank you all for your continued support.
